Fine Arts II: Drawing & Painting, Grades 9-12

This course is designed for students to build upon and strengthen their drawing and painting skills. The course explores both the formal and thematic issues that provide a framework for generating individual ideas and approaches. Coursework fosters both visual and written research as well as collecting and assembling images and objects to generate ideas. Critiques and discussion are an integral part of the class in order to develop analytical and evaluative skills. Prerequisite: Fine Arts I or an equivalent drawing class.
