Prof Practices: Interior Des

This course offers you an overview of the legal, ethical, and financial aspects of the interior design field. You are introduced to current models of practice and study the role of economics, contracts, liability, licensure, and standards of practice in shaping contemporary interior design practice. What kind of marketing and promotion is effective for your particular work? Whether you intend to freelance, create a small partnership, or work in-house at a boutique office or large company, this course helps you understand what to expect. You review common business practices, including business proposals, pricing, estimates, invoices, client relations, interviewing techniques, professional conduct, and writing CVs and résumés.
