*New* Parsons Paris Intensive Lighting Design Spring Studio
Parsons in the City of Light! Transplanting the successful Summer Intensive Lighting Design Studio to Parsons Paris in January provides another opportunity for a week-long immersion experience in lighting design. Similarly designed for practicing professionals, it too takes advantage of the full-time faculty and expertise in the MFA Lighting Design Program in the School of Constructed Environments, but with a project sited in Paris and the opportunity for field visits of iconic lighting installations and current design projects. Participants will spend a full seven days in the Parsons Paris studio environment working on a lighting design project sited in the City of Light, participating in hands-on exercises to better understand the role light can play in architectural environments and learning design techniques to achieve excellence in lighting design.
