About This Certificate

Develop the human side of business. The New School's Organization Development Certificate is designed for professionals both in and outside of organizations who seek to build on their professional knowledge and for those wishing to enter the organization development field. Courses in this certificate program enable students to build on existing knowledge to facilitate imaginative, systems-embedded organizational change. The curriculum is critically reflective, rooted in real-world experience, and flexible in delivery. Our focus on change leadership competencies prepares students to work in cross-sector organizations with a wide range of cultural and social identity groups around the world.

Timeline to Completion: This professional certificate is awarded upon completion of 18 graduate credits. The program can be completed in as little as two semesters of full-time study or in a year and a half of part-time study.

Number of Courses: 6 courses (5 foundational courses, 1 elective)

Format: On Campus.

Course Sequence: Courses should be taken in the order in which they are listed.
