The online program runs from July 6-24, with six hours of creative programming each day. The program features core classes, all for college credit, that focus on explorations of fine arts, design, and portfolio development.

Classes convene twice daily. Each day, students participate in live sessions (1-2 hours) using video conferencing. In between live gatherings, students participate in self-paced sessions (2-3 hours). Students will have opportunities to meet one-on-one with their professor each week, receiving feedback on their progress. Courses are supplemented by special guest lectures, events with the Parsons Admissions team, portfolio reviews, and virtual field trips.

True to Parsons’ innovative learning style, this program incorporates structured “away time” from the computer in which students investigate world events, social issues, and personal experiences and interests as material for class assignments.

Students must demonstrate English language proficiency as classes are taught in English. A TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 79 or higher on the Internet-based course is required. Students may also submit an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 or higher or a DET (Duolingo English Test) score of 105 or higher.
